Danilo Sartoni
Inspired by the commedia dell'arte, Danilo Sartori's art focuses on the reinterpretation of the most significant and popular characters of the puppet and marionette folk tradition. The puppets are hand-painted, while for puppet theatres he uses the original anastatic printing technique of old prosceniums from the eightenn and nineteen hundreds, glueing the printings on perforated wood panels.
